Our 22-momme mulberry silk pillowcases come in three sizes — all 20 inches (51 cm) wide, with envelope closure (no zippers). Queen is the most forgiving fit and works for most Australian, US, and hotel-style pillows.

How to measure your pillow
Takes 20 seconds. You'll need the pillow you're buying for, a flat surface, and a tape measure or ruler.

Lay the pillow flat
Uncompressed, on a bed or table. Don't trust the size printed on the packaging — new pillows compress 10–15% in the first few weeks of use, so always measure the pillow as it is now.

Measure the long edge
In centimetres or inches — whichever you prefer. Measure edge to edge, following the longest side. Ignore the short (20 inch / 51 cm) side — our three sizes only differ in length.

Match to a size
≤ 48 cm / 19" → Standard. 48–85 cm / 19–33" → Queen. 85 cm+ / 33"+ → King. Between two sizes? Always size up. A slightly roomy case sits better and lasts longer than one straining at the seams.

A few notes on fit
The answers to the three questions we get most often about pillow fit.
New pillow?
Size to the current pillow
A brand-new pillow will compress 10–15% in the first weeks of use. Ignore the dimensions on the packaging — measure the pillow as it is right now, not what it was in the shop.
Old & flat?
Still works, but…
A flat pillow in a roomier silk case doesn't do anything wrong — you still get the smoother skin and hair benefits. But some of the slip-and-glide magic works best when the case is filled out. Good excuse for a new pillow.
Between sizes?
Always size up
A slightly roomy pillowcase sits better, drapes cleaner, and lasts longer than one straining at the envelope seam. If your measurement falls exactly between Standard and Queen, pick Queen.

Silk scrunchies
One size · 3 per pack
Cut to an internal diameter of about 4 cm with enough stretch for hair types from fine to thick. Works for ponytails, messy buns, and half-ups without leaving a crease. Not recommended for very thick braids or elaborate updos — those need a silk cord or ribbon.
